NJWA Concert Band Sunday Series - Directed by Howard Toplansky, the next concert will take place on June 3, 2012 at 3:00 pm, at Temple Emanu-El, 756 East Broad Street, Westfield.  Admission is $10.

Congratulations
to Matthew Osment, a piano student of Brent Geyer, who was recently chosen to perform for the New Jersey Music Teachers Association High Honors Recital at Caldwell College. Only a select number of students from across the state qualify for this event each year.
Matthew, an eighth grader at Edison Intermediate School, also performed at the Workshop for Music Performance Concert Hall in New York recently as a qualifier for the Golden Key Music Festival. Bravo!

The New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Music Studio congratulates Oria Alexander, Becky Zhang, and Katie Buchbinder for their acceptance into the National High School Flute Choir.  These students of Jenny Cline were among the 24 selected throughout the country to perform with the ensemble.
Cellist of Distinction - Congratulations to Anastasia Smolenski, a student of David Hilton, who made 1st. chair on cello at Westfield High School.
