Father's Day Concert - On Sunday, June 16, the Florian Schantz Jazz Combo will perform at at 7:30 pm at the Crossroads, 78 North Avenue, Garwood.  Tickets are $10 a person and a portion of the proceeds will benefit  NJWA scholarships and programming.

Summer Orchestras - The NJWA will offer three orchestra experiences for the summer.  Under Programs, please click on the Summer Symphony, Kinder Orchestra and Training Orchestra for further information on each. 
Student News  - The following students at the NJWA Music Studio have been awarded various honors.  These include Sophie Hurwitz, Early Morning Orchestra on Violin at Roosevelt Intermediate School; Edison Intermediate School students Christopher Ng, 1st. Chair Violin; Olivia Hamilton, 2nd Chair, 1st. Violin; Morgan Eng, 2nd Chair Violin; Sara Kischner and Gabrielle de Cottis, from Wilson School, All City Band on Flute; Charlotte Perez, 2nd  Violin, Region Orchestra; Mia Cimino, 1st. Soprano, Region Chorus; Emily Hurwitz, Chamber Orchestra , Westfield High School.  Michael Carides passed with distinction the Associated Board at the Royal School of Music.  Savion Brown and Matthew Osment both raised money for Ronald McDonald House as part of the NJMTA Performathon and played at Westminster Choir College.
Music Studio Spring Session -  The spring session of the Music Studio begins on April 2.  Please call the office for teacher availability and scheduling. 
Practice Rooms -  Practice Rooms are available for rental during daytime hours.  Please call Dr. Ted Schlosberg at 908-789-9696, ext. 17  for details.
